### Why choose a used phone? You pay for the years you will use it.

Certified used means the phone **must work**, the **marks are written down**, and you can **reach someone** after you buy. You are not making do. You are not buying “like new”.

Grades are **A / B / C**. They only describe how it looks. The letter does not mean it works better. The price on screen is the price you pay. Prices on [gigglefone.fr](https://gigglefone.fr/en-US/?ref=giggle.blog) are euro TTC.

Most people are not asking whether used is fashionable. They are asking whether this phone will do the next two or three years of daily use. The unboxing goes away. Calls, photos, and going out — that is what you bought.

---

### Three reasons it can be the right next phone

**You pay for the years you use.** Part of a new-phone price is the first unboxing — the box, the film, the “brand new” feeling on day one. For the next two or three years you use the screen, the camera, the battery, and the network. Certified used pays for those years, not the box.

**Looks and how it works are two different things.** Marks follow A / B / C. The chart is on [grades](https://gigglefone.fr/en-US/grades?utm%5Fsource=article&utm%5Fmedium=content&utm%5Fcampaign=gigglefone%5Ffr%5Fwhy%5Fused%5F20260911&utm%5Fcontent=en-US&utm%5Fterm=grades). How it works has to pass [80+ inspection points](https://gigglefone.fr/en-US/quality?utm%5Fsource=article&utm%5Fmedium=content&utm%5Fcampaign=gigglefone%5Ffr%5Fwhy%5Fused%5F20260911&utm%5Fcontent=en-US&utm%5Fterm=quality). Grade C is not a dead phone: the letter is looks only, not whether it works. Battery health **≥ 85%** when stated — do not mix it with grade.

**Someone answers.** A private sale is often final. Here: 6-month warranty and 14-day returns. Charging feels off, or the phone you receive is not the one you saw — [contact us](https://gigglefone.fr/en-US/contactus?ref=giggle.blog).

| Reason | What that actually means |
| ------------------------------------ | ------------------------------------------------------------------------ |
| **You pay for the years you use** | You pay for daily use later, not for the first unboxing. |
| **Looks and function stay separate** | A / B / C is marks. Function is inspection. Grade C is not a dead phone. |
| **Someone answers** | 6-month warranty, 14-day returns, someone to reach. |

### Three lines you should not take as fact

Ads, groups, and street talk sometimes make used sound new, or “always a lot cheaper”. Check those lines. Do not treat them as already proven.

| If you hear | What is true |
| ------------------------------------------------ | --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| “Almost new” or “95% of the experience” | Nobody can measure that. Used is used: marks follow the chart, function follows inspection. |
| “Always a set percent cheaper than official new” | How much cheaper depends on model, storage, grade, and today’s catalog. There is no fixed discount. |
| “A better grade means a better phone to use” | The letter is looks only. Whether it works well is function and battery. |

“Almost new” cannot be measured. How much you save depends on the model, storage, grade, and what is in the catalog that day. A higher grade only means fewer marks — not a better phone to use.

### Want to look?

You do not need to scan the whole site. Start with a model and storage, then compare prices; or open *this* phone’s photos and confirm it is this one.

| What you want | Where to go |
| ------------------------- | ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| **Shop by model** | [Product catalog](https://gigglefone.fr/en-US/p?utm%5Fsource=article&utm%5Fmedium=content&utm%5Fcampaign=gigglefone%5Ffr%5Fwhy%5Fused%5F20260911&utm%5Fcontent=en-US&utm%5Fterm=p) |
| **Pick this exact phone** | [One device, one photo](https://gigglefone.fr/en-US/d?utm%5Fsource=article&utm%5Fmedium=content&utm%5Fcampaign=gigglefone%5Ffr%5Fwhy%5Fused%5F20260911&utm%5Fcontent=en-US&utm%5Fterm=d) |

A catalog price is useful for comparing. Do not treat it as what you will pay until you have seen that phone’s photos. The phone you see is the phone you receive.

Before you pay, match these: the grade letter, battery health if it is listed, the photos, and the price on screen. When they line up, pay.
